Hummus! Many argue its pronunciation, but all agree that it's delicious. A combination of chick peas, garlic, lemon and olive oil, this middle eastern delight is filled with protein, fiber and flavor. Quick and easy to make and a joy to share. Served with warm pita bread, on a salad or a fork alone! Get the recipe details!

Ingredients

2 garlic cloves
2 lemons
1 6-ounce can chickpeas
4 tablespoons tahini
pinch of salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
pinch of paprika

Directions Peel and chop the garlic, and squeeze the juice from the lemons. Put everything (except the paprika) into a blender, and blend until smooth. Add a little water, if necessary. Pour into a dish and sprinkle with paprika. Serve as a dip with pita pockets.
